Clap with Claire has been wonderful for our fifteen month old daughter Noelle! She looks very forward to each class, and has learned about rhythm and movement through fun songs and game activities! Claire is extremely patient, friendly, kind, and talented. She is knowledgeable of her age group, and the songs and games are well suited to the emerging toddlers in the class. We especially loved the scarves and musical instruments. So much so that Noelle puts nearly everything soft she can find in our home on her head, or drums on the dinner table waiting for me to sing, "let's tap and tap." Moreover, classes are well organized, and offer a consistent routine that is perfect for this age group. Thank you Claire! My 7 month old son, Jett, and I love CLAP with Claire.  He has a bright, enthusiastic smile on his face for the duration of the whole class.  The activities we do along with the songs are fun, too, and at the perfect pace for the little ones' attention spans.  I've signed him up for the next semester of classes already! - Christie Cogghe

CLAP is a fantastic introduction to the world of rhythm, beat and music. I'd be lying if I said that my son could now recognize soca music or baroque instrumental. But, about eight weeks into the class, my son (13 1/2 months at the time) pulled out his drum and started tapping on it in the exact beat that Claire uses on the gathering drum. We sing the same song at home with our own bells and shakers! Claire brings such exuberance to CLAP. She genuinely cares for each of the children in the class. It's great to see how the children respond to her: casting her side glances to see if she is watching, smiling at her, laughing at her faces and gestures, clapping. Over the session, the children learn the routine of the class. You can almost see them waiting for the moment when the balls or the big red box of toys will come out. It's fun to see how certain kids have favourite instruments or props that they return to week after week; my son, for instance, is obsessed with the blue ball with the fuschia honeycomb design. - Jessica, mom to Wil

I signed up for CLAP with Claire because my one year old has a natural love for music, constantly singing recognizable tunes whenever he is happy and loving noise! I wanted to encourage his enthusiasm for music ad that is exactly what happens at CLAP with Claire. Claire is enthusiastic about music and exposes children to a variety of songs, instruments and visual examples. She keeps her classes interesting for baby and parents by having a biweekly theme and a very interactive class. C.L.A.P. with Claire has been an enjoyable experience for both myself and my three year old daughter, Sarah. Sarah talks about it through the week and tries to use the things we learn.
